ABOUT THE ARTIST

Raised in small town Burley, Idaho, Kim always loved being creative with fashion and design. The jewelry industry brought her and her husband to Utah. Married in1999, they have raised their four kids in Provo, Utah, skiing at Sundance and hiking the local mountains. She worked as an interior designer for over 10 years. During that time she and her family experienced a faith crisis which caused a secret battle with alcoholism for her. “These mountains healed me and brought the balance and peace back into my life.” Kim celebrates being sober since 09/30/2018.

“The universe was telling me I needed to create-so I switched gears completely and started painting. I created an original medium to accomplish a certain texture and look with my paintings. They are meant to bring the feeling of peace and the calm of the earth into any space! All inspired by the colors and textures of nature.” With each piece Kim creates, she donates a portion to fighting addiction through recovery and supporting people getting into the mountains.
